A Data Stream Network for developers to build realtime apps View all work News 05.09 Pango acquires Gett for $175m Gett , the taxi-hailing app, which was formerly known as Get Taxi, has been acquired by Pango , a parking payments app. Pango is paying $175 million for Gett, which is close to the valuation that was reported by "Globes" in March. This acquisition is only slightly above the fair value of $160 million, which is attributed to Gett by its largest shareholder, Swedish investment fund VNV Global. We have been working with Gett from the very beginning when the founder of the company Dave Waiser came to us with his idea literally on the napkin.
